Who We Are 

The Big City Parents Organization (BCPO) is a non-profit organization established in 2005 by a group of Big City Parent Volunteers to address diversity and financial accessibility at BCMS. BCPO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

 All donations made to the organization are tax-deductible, and 100% of the funds raised are directly used to fund scholarships for students in need.

How You Can Help

BCPO’s fundraising efforts benefit all children because it allows the school to support additional education enrichment programs and capital improvements (e.g. playground).
 

You can support our fundraising efforts to provide quality early education for San Francisco children in the following ways:

  1. Make a cash donation to directly sponsor a child’s education.

  2. Have your employer give a matching contribution.

  3. Give a gift of goods or services to our Annual Scholarship Gala.

  4. Help the BCPO to plan the Scholarship Gala and other fundraising activities.

Annual BCPO Scholarship Gala

The Annual Scholarship Gala is held for the BCMS community and is the primary fundraising activity for the year. The event features gourmet food and wine, live entertainment and a silent and live auction.

Early bird tickets will be available in the SPRING.

We will have a website where you can you buy your tickets and can also get a sneak peek preview of all the fabulous items that will be auctioned off the night of the Gala!
 
 

  • Please Help With Donations For Auction

We need everyone to please donate or ask businesses to provide goods or services to the Scholarship Gala. Donated items will be auctioned and provide the majority of revenue towards our fundraising goals.

 

  • Help Out At The Gala

We always need some extra hands to prepare for the Gala! Please email us at bigcitypo@gmail.com, or speak to Jill Walsh in the school office, to learn how you can get involved.

BCPO Members

The Big City Parents Organization is comprised of parents whose children attend (or have attended) the school. Parents volunteer their time. We welcome any parent to join the BCPO and attend our monthly meetings.
